hello deviantart.

It's been a long time. How are you?

I've been working, just working. And dealing with a lot of people who insist on making my life more difficult then it has to be... but given the choice I'd rather have (most of) them around then not :)

I have not been very productive, however, due to this new schedule, since it seems as though my only free time is spent sleeping, reading, or watching TV in an effort not to think about anything. I know that's bad. But it's true.

Recently I've been rather hard up for money- which limits my ability to take a lot of film images- so I've been shooting a lot more digital. I got a D40 for Christmas, which is exciting. And I picked up an old K1000 and an old Konica Autoreflex recently, which were the two cameras I pretty much learned on and used for the first, oh, 4 or 5 years of photography. I'm very excited to have them back, especially because they cost me a grand total of $12! Yep, for both of them- the K1000 was given to me, and the Konica was purchased at an antique store for $12. And I'm happy to report that both cameras seem to function properly with the exception of the light meters, but I have yet to try replacing the batteries to see if that is an issue.

Anyway- I will upload a few new images, some old film scans and some new digital, probably. And who knows? Maybe a few newer film scans too. If I'm lucky.

We shall see....

I'm absolutely amazed!! You must have found the fountain of youth or something?? You have not aged, you have been 22 for over a year now!! That is amazing. How did you do that? And, is there any way to grow younger? I wanna be 10 again :(

Haha, maybe you should update your age...just a thought, as if it REALLY matters....
